Working with a Corporate Partner

Why do I need a corporate partner?
Many physicians find that after spending all day providing patient care and running their practice, they simply don't have enough time and energy left for family, friends and fun. Overlaying on this busy schedule the burden of an ASC facility buildout, ongoing facility operations and management is often times too much. A solid and experienced corporate partner like Titan allows physicians to maintain their patient focus while their partner manages the project's planning and buildout and the business's risk and operations.

Titan puts up initial capital and assumes part of the project’s risk just like our physician partners do. Because we’re also one of the partners, we are committed to the center’s ongoing success. Choosing a partner with aligned interests means you can rest assured we will do everything it takes to develop and run an efficient and successful surgery center right from the start.

Why a facility partner versus a consultant?
By definition, a partner has an interest in the business. That interest, however, extends beyond merely an economic interest. A facility partner's primary responsibility is to ensure the center's success, both economic and operational. A facility partner will not only craft the facility's strategic and business plan, but implement the plan as well. Contrary to a consultant, a facility partner will be held accountable.

There are a lot of options to choose from. What makes Titan different from other ASC development and operating companies?
Titan's management team has more than 200 years combined experience in the areas of ASC development and operations. Our expertise in creating unique outpatient surgical environments is evident in our many center partnerships throughout the U.S. Our extensive experience and knowledge minimize investment risks for our physician partners while maximizing center efficiencies, profitability and investment returns. In addition, Titan is willing to consider minority ownership, something many other ASC development companies are not.

What is Titan's typical ownership participation?
Physicians are always the majority owners in Titan's surgery centers. Titan's minority interest is supported by a prorata contribution of capital and prorata assumption of debt. This model ensures that the physicians' and Titan's interests are fully aligned, something critical to the success of both Titan and its centers.
