Titan Expands Operations and Facility Development Support

Titan Health Corporation is pleased to announce the following new additions to its operations and facility development teams:

Roseanne Ottaggio, RN - Vice President of Operations

Roseanne has been in the healthcare industry for more than 28 years. Prior to working for Titan, she served as the administrator for a New Jersey surgery center where she was responsible for all business, clinical, facility, quality and efficiencies related to the center’s operations. She has also served as the Director of Business Development for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and the Regional Director of a health services company. Roseanne will be based out of Yardley, PA. Roseanne will be based out of Yardley, PA.

Elaine Lang, RN – Director of Facility Planning and Development

Elaine has more than 20 years experience in healthcare administration with an emphasis in surgery center development and management, and extensive experience in healthcare consulting, Joint Commission accreditation readiness and compliance and regulatory affairs. Prior to joining Titan, she served as the administrator for a start-up ASC in New Jersey. Previous positions also include administrator for several ambulatory surgery centers and Vice President of Quality Initiatives for a large hospital that included a network of ambulatory care facilities. Elaine will be based out of Cherry Hill, NJ. Elaine will be based out of Cherry Hill, NJ.

 

Titan Names DJ Hill Chief Development Officer

Titan Health Corporation is pleased to announce the promotion of Darin Jay (DJ) Hill to Chief Development Officer. In his expanded role, DJ will oversee the efforts of the business development team across the country.

DJ’s personal interests include snowboarding, tennis and sailing. He resides in Raleigh, NC with his wife and family.   

 

Titan Hires New Vice President of Business Development

Titan Health Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of Jay Sweetnich, Vice President of Business Development, to its team. Jay comes to Titan with nearly 20 years of healthcare experience. Jay's expertise in healthcare joint venture business launches and structuring will be valuable to Titan's potential partners looking for guidance on either a new surgery center launch or the restructuring of an existing ASC.

Jay will be based out of Kennesaw, GA and will cover the southeastern region (gulf states) for Titan. His prior experience includes senior level leadership at urology and orthopedic firms. Jay's personal interests include international travel and attending concerts.

 

Millennium Surgical Center Passes Joint Commission Survey

Titan Health Corporation is pleased to announce that Millennium Surgical Center received its Joint Commission accreditation on November 28th. Millennium opened October 22nd and specializes in orthopedics, spine, pain management and podiatry. The center is also licensed by the State of New Jersey.

Millennium Surgical Center is located at 2090 Springdale Road, Suite A in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

 

Titan Opens Third Surgery Center in New Jersey

Titan Health Corporation is pleased to announce the opening of Millennium Surgical Center in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The center performed its first case on October 22nd. With more than 25 physician partners and 10,750 square feet, Millennium is sure to be a positive addition to the Cherry Hill community. The advanced center features three operating/procedure rooms and specializes in orthopedic, spine, pain medicine and podiatric procedures. The center is licensed by the State of New Jersey and plans on completing the Joint Accreditation process within the next few months.

Titan Acquires Large Pittsburgh Surgery Center

August, 2007 | Sacramento, CA

Titan Health Corporation is pleased to announce the completed acquisition of Southwestern Ambulatory Surgery Center (SWASC) in Pittsburgh. Opened in 1986, SWASC was Pennsylvania’s first outpatient ASC. The center is more than 15,000 square feet and contains four operating rooms, three procedure rooms and pre- and post-operative recovery space. Titan began managing the center on July 2nd.

“Titan is pleased to partner with such a long-standing and reputable ASC,” said Marc Jang, Titan Health Corporation President and CEO. “Our re-syndication of the facility was extremely successful and we’re confident this new relationship will be a success for all parties involved.”

SWASC currently features more than 20 physician partners in more than ten specialties including anesthesiology, podiatry, ENT, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, dentistry and plastics. Southwestern is Titan’s second ASC partnership in Pittsburgh.  

 

Titan Acquires Third ASC in Pennsylvania

Titan Health Corporation is pleased to announce the acquisition of Hershey Outpatient Surgery Center (HOSC) in Hershey, PA. HOSC is a seven operating room ASC that features 22,000 square feet, advanced equipment and pre- and post-operative recovery space. HOSC currently partners with Penn State University and Hershey Medical Center and participates in the Penn State Residency Program. Current specialties include orthopedics, urology, podiatry, pain management, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, neurology, gynecology, general surgery, ENT and colo-rectal surgery.

Hershey Outpatient Surgery Center represents Titan’s third ASC partnership in Pennsylvania as well as one of the company’s largest partnerships to-date nationwide.

Melissa Lemons Promoted to Vice President of Business Services

Titan Health Corporation is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Melissa Lemons to Vice President of Business Services. Prior to her promotion she served as the company’s Director of Business Services. In her new role, Melissa will be responsible for advising and supporting the company’s surgery centers with their payer contracting, billing, coding, collecting and AR management. She will also be responsible for setting up the business office operations for new centers including the hiring and training of staff, and standardizing business office processes and systems company-wide.

Melissa is based out of Nashville, TN and has been with Titan since June, 2006.

 

Titan Hires Additional Vice President of Operations

Titan Health Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of Sean Rambo, Vice President of Operations, to its ASC operations team. Sean comes to Titan Health with 11 years of experience in the healthcare industry and a specific focus in the ASC industry since 2000.

Prior to joining Titan, Sean served as Vice President of Operations for an ASC company where he was responsible for ASC operations and development throughout the state of Florida. In addition, Sean also served as Regional Vice President of Financial Operations throughout the Eastern US. Earlier in his career, he held business development & product management roles with Perot Systems Revenue Cycle & Managed Care Group. Sean will be based out of Raleigh, NC.

 

North Haven Pain Medicine Center Opens

Titan Health Corporation is pleased to announce the opening of North Haven Pain Medicine Center (NHPMC). The center performed its first procedure on Friday, May 18th. Prior to opening, NHPMC passed its licensing survey on May 15th and, just recently, its Medicare survey on May 24th. The center’s JCAHO survey is scheduled for the end of June.

NHPMC is 7,500 square feet with two operating/procedure rooms and pre- and post-operative recovery space. The center is located at 52 Washington Avenue, Suite 1 in North Haven, CT. This is Titan’s first ASC partnership in Connecticut.

 

Connecticut Surgery Center Passes Licensing Survey and Prepares to Open

The final touches are being added to North Haven Pain Medicine Center, a 7,500 square foot outpatient ambulatory surgery center (ASC) located in North Haven, CT. The center will be located at 52 Washington Avenue, Suite 1 and feature two operating/procedure rooms, pre- and post-op recovery space and state-of-the-art equipment. The center passed its licensing survey on May 15th and is scheduled to perform its first case on May 18th.

North Haven represents a partnership between Dr. Mark Thimineur, M.D. and Titan Health Corporation, a nationwide surgery center development, acquisition and management company. Titan Health began working with Dr. Thiminuer in 2005, helping to win a Certificate of Need (CON) for the center. Once awarded, the company began overseeing the center’s development and will manage the ASC’s day-to-day operations on an ongoing basis once the center has opened.

 

Titan Health Corporation Scheduled to Begin Construction on New Jersey Surgery Center Next Month

Titan Health Corporation is pleased to announce a new surgery center project currently under development in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. The ASC will be named Millennium Surgery Center and will specialize in orthopedics, spine surgery, pain medicine and podiatry.

 

Millennium Surgery Center will be housed in a newly constructed 10,750 square foot building containing four OR/procedure rooms and pre-/post-operative recovery space. Construction is scheduled to begin in late May, and the center is expected to open in the fourth quarter.

 

Millennium will be Titan’s third ASC in New Jersey. The company’s first – Lakewood Surgery Center – opened in 2005 and is located in Lakewood. The company’s second will open this summer and be located in Manahawkin.  

 

“We’re excited to be opening our third surgery center partnership in New Jersey before the year’s end,” said Marc Jang, Titan Health Corporation President and CEO. “Millennium will feature a large number of skilled physicians, as well as a variety of specialties, to safely and effectively serve the Mt. Matrix Surgery Center Receives JCAHO Accreditation

Titan is pleased to announce that Matrix Surgery Center successfully passed its JCAHO survey on January 19th. Matrix is now state licensed, Medicare certified and JCAHO accredited.
