Sea Oaks Surgery Center Opens Titan Finalizes Two Pennsylvania Acquisitions Titan has finalized the following acquisitions: Hershey Outpatient Surgery Center (HOSC) in Hershey, PA and Southwestern ASC in Pittsburgh, PA. HOSC currently partners with Penn State University and Hershey Medical Center and participates in the Penn State Residency Program. The center features 11 specialties and more than 22,000 square feet. SWASC was Pennsylvania’s first outpatient surgery center and features seven OR/procedure rooms and more than 20 physician partners in more than ten different specialties. Melissa Lemons Promoted to Vice President of Business Services Titan is pleased to announce the promotion of Melissa Lemons to Vice President of Business Services. Prior to her promotion she served as the company’s Director of Business Services. In her new role, Melissa will be responsible for advising and supporting the company’s surgery centers with their payer contracting, billing, coding, collecting and AR management. She will also be responsible for setting up the business office operations for new centers including the hiring and training of staff, and standardizing business office processes and systems company-wide. Melissa is based out of Nashville, TN. Titan Standardizes Same Store Growth Program With nearly 20 fully operational centers nationwide, Titan is pleased to announce a more standardized approach to Same Store Growth. Our new formalized SSG program includes formal center administrator training, standardized training manuals and a formalized data and activity tracking system. Center News Millennium Surgery Center Scheduled to Open in October Millennium Surgery Center, Titan’s third ASC partnership in New Jersey, is scheduled to open this October. The center will specialize in orthopedics, spine, pain medicine and podiatry.
