Titan Partners With Dr. Paul Murphy in San Diego Titan is pleased to announce a new project under development with Paul Murphy, M.D. Scheduled to open in 2008, the San Diego Sports and Minimally Invasive Surgery Center will specialize in neurosurgery, orthopedic/hand surgery and pain medicine. The center will be part of a larger sports medicine complex that includes physical therapy, MRI, Gamma Knife and physician offices.
Development Activities Underway in Florida Development activities have begun on an ASC project in Doral, FL. Syndication of additional physician partners is currently underway.
Titan Hires New Vice President of Operations Sean Rambo has been hired as Titan’s new Vice President of Operations. He will work with Tim Evans, Titan’s current VP of Operations, to support center operations nationwide. Prior to joining Titan, Sean worked for United Surgical Partners International (USPI). Sean will be based out of Raleigh, NC and will begin July 9th.
Center News North Haven Surgery Center Opens North Haven Surgery Center performed its first case on May 18th. The center passed its state licensing and Medicare surveys on 5/15 and 5/24, and will have its JCAHO survey on 6/28. The center specializes in pain medicine and is located in North Haven, CT.
Titan is pleased to announce the opening of Southwestern Ambulatory Surgery Center (SWASC) under Titan management on July 2nd. SWASC is an acquisition and resyndication project located in Pittsburgh, PA. The center contains four operating rooms and three procedure rooms. Currently, the center features eight specialties and 19 doctors and is looking to accept new partners.
Sea Oaks Surgery Center, Titan’s second ASC in New Jersey, is scheduled to open at the end of July. The center is located in Little Egg Harbor and will specialize in orthopedics, pain, podiatry and ophthalmology. Upcoming Events ISIS 15th Annual Meeting
